The Fun Of The Fitbit.

If you don’t have a Fitbit, we bet you’ve heard of one.

And if you don’t know much about it, you probably want to know: What exactly would a Fitbit do for me, and how does it work?

A Fitbit is an activity tracker, which monitors your fitness routine. Its main purpose is to track the number of steps you take every day. Some fitbits are designed to be worn like a watch, while others can be clipped to your clothing, like a brooch. (We don’t all like the feel of something around our wrist.)

Why are they so popular?

Because we love gadgets? Yes, but also because a Fitbit makes your fitness levels more measurable, so it’s really inspiring and motivating.

Isn’t it like a pedometer? Well, yes, but with so many more features that the two tools are worlds apart.

This clever little device can pair up with your smartphone, which will display all your data, but you don’t have to have a smart phone, you can also synch it up to your PC or laptop.

Once you’ve charged and used your Fitbit, connect it to your computer and on the dashboard log section, you’ll find that you can track a lot of information, including weight, diet information, non-walking activities and even sleep. You choose the goals that are important to you. Start off small, if you like, but pretty soon you could be using all the amazing features of your Fitbit.
