Tom Waits said that. Or rather, Tom Waits sang that. It’s true, you know. You really can’t hold back Spring. When the snowdrops and the daffodils and the watsonias start coming out of the frosty ground in August, you realise. No matter how interminable winter might have seemed, Spring is an unstoppable thing. Thank goodness for Spring.
Spring isn’t just a season. It’s a chance to refresh, to turn over a new leaf, and restart your engine.
Spring presents us with flowers. Reminders that, when the cloudy days lift, bright, lovely ones are sure to follow.
It’s the chance to see your life in full bloom. A time of knowing, for sure, that optimism is the only way.
Spring has inspired great artists and writers.
Like Tolstoy said: ‘Spring is the time of plans and projects.’ True words.
Spring is the time of
plans and projects.
Some great advice from Robert Schuller:
‘Never cut a tree down in the wintertime. Never make a negative decision in the low time. Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods. Wait. Be patient. The storm will pass. The spring will come.’
And one of Hollywood’s greatest legends, Robin Williams, said: Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s party!’
We like that. Now that Spring is here, we think it’s going to make every day feel like a party.
Have a great Spring day 🙂
