Life in the kitchen

Simple suppers. Why have them any other way?

What do we keep saying about living simply?

Well, today we’re shamelessly plugging our Natures Garden veg, which have CONVENIENCE written all over them.

We’d like to show you what you can do if you have 6 eggs, a roll of puff pastry and a packet of Natures Garden cauli-rice, sweetcorn and peas. (Oh and a bit of cheese and milk.)

The Simplest Quiche. Ever.

Pre-heat the oven to about 200 degrees C.

Roll out the puff pastry and prebake it in the hot oven till lightly golden.

Whisk the eggs and add a cup of milk.

The Simplest Quiche. Ever.

Grate a little cheese (to scatter on top).

Steam the Natures Garden 500g pack of cauli-rice, sweetcorn and peas, for 10 minutes.

Stir the veg and eggs/milk mix together, and pour onto the pie base.

Scatter the cheese on top.

Bake at 200 degrees C, until set – and slightly golden on top.

Optional: If you’d like a slightly richer taste, fold a tub of cream cheese into the milk and egg mixture.
